ALICE J. HOLEMAN STUTZ, 56 years old, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, following a brief illness.
Alice was born July 17, 1951 to Burton William and Catherine Elizabeth (Melroy) Holeman. On January 10, 1987, she married Larry J. Stutz in Topeka, Kansas. A.J. was originally from Norton, Kansas, then lived in Alma Kansas for twelve years before moving to Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She worked for many years for the State of Kansas Department of Corrections as the Director of Hiring, EEO and Affirmative Action. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Her husband: Larry J. Stutz of Pawhuska;
Her son: Sean Martin of Topeka, KS;
Her sisters: Margaret Mary Allison of Rockford, IL;
Francie Shields of Snellville, GA;
Kathryn Morehead of Alma, KS;
Tamara Nelson of Norton, KS;
Her step-children: Chris, Russell and Curtis Stutz;
And a host of other family and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 12, at 7:00 PM in the McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held Friday, June 13, at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Pawhuska. Father Chris Daigle will officiate. On Monday, June 16, services will be held at 10:00 AM at the Enfield Funeral Home in Norton, Kansas, with burial to follow in the Norton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Pawhuska Hospital, 1101 E 15th, Pawhuska, OK 74056.
