A different kind of inundation

A Shidler school bus ended up in the drink at Shidler Lake on Saturday morning. The bus was stolen and went on a joyride with a decidedly disastrous ending. Deputy Mike Stazsyen, a member of the dive team, went into the water in a wetsuit Saturday to hook the bus up to a tow truck but he foundered and had to be removed from the water. He was  then removed to a hospital in Ponca City and contrary to early scanner traffic was not drowned, nor was CPR administered, according to Undersheriff Lou Ann BRown.
