Longtime Pawhuska resident WILDA WILLIAMS passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 in her home. She was 50 years old.
Wilda was born September 5, 1958 in Sedan, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph and Gladys Bohannan. (Waggie). She is preceded in death by her son Archie G. Williams, III, her parents, three sisters, Shirley Bohannan, Pat Brown, and Judy Diaz; one brother, Chuck Bohannan.
Wilda was a member of the Assembly of God church. She was a home help aide, caring for the elderly before she stayed home to take care of her son Archie.
Surviving family include: Her children: Judy Williams and Jimmy Lee Williams, Jr. both of Pawhuska; Life-Long Companion: Tom Dearing of the home. Two brothers: Allen Ray Bohannan of Calhoun, Ga.; and Ralph Bohannan of Muskogee; one Aunt: Julia Runyan of Caney, Kansas; one Uncle: George Waggie of Wynona; and four grandchildren: Chelsea, Christopher, Chancellor, and Chad Hahn all of Pawhuska.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Elgin, Kansas. Pastor Mike Franklin will officiate the service.
McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
