Mike Jordan, 71, resident of rural Barnsdall, died at 2:38 AM on Sunday in the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday in the Jordan Family Cemetery at Barnsdall, with Mr. C. H. Whiteman of Skiatook, Oklahoma officiating. Graveside services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff-Barnsdall Funeral Home.
Mike Jordan was born July 1, 1938 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles and Opal (Neicewander) Jordan. He was raised and received his education in Sands Springs where he graduated high school in 1957. Mike was employed at Sheffield Steel Mill until his retirement in the 1980’s. He has been a rancher most of his life. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Hominy, Oklahoma. Mike was a member of several rodeo associations.
Survivors include; his daughter Brooke Reed of Hominy; his brother Chuck Jordan of Tulsa; his sister Vicki Dotson of Pryor; two grandchildren Kolton Ray Reed and Karli Jordan Reed and his sister-in-law Crystal Jordan of Tulsa. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews Wade Dotson and Jeff Jordan.
