Huskies over Heritage Hall, 34-20

 
 
  The Pawhuska Huskies staged a stunning defeat of last year's state champions, Heritage Hall, sending the Chargers back to Oklahoma City 34-20. The Huskies now move on to the semi-finals, which likely will be played in Stillwater. Check back at Bigheart Times sports' page by clicking on the link above.

Barnsdall's 4th grade football team is heading to the league finals next Saturday – a first. The Panthers will play Dewey, which is the only team they lost to all season. On Saturday, the Panthers defeated Nowata soundly. Well, more than soundly: The score was 38-0.

Eddie Gonzalez, Barnsdall High senior, dies

Eddie Gonzalez was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital at 2:30 this afternoon. He was injured in a SUV accident at 12:05 a.m. Saturday east of Barnsdall. The accident is reported below.

Trojans Trip Lady Panthers

Barnsdall fell to 1-2 on the season with a 4-0 loss in their home opener against Caney Valley Thursday.  Next action for the Lady Panthers will be Saturday at the Chelsea Festival.
